Privacy Policy
How we handle your personal data, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
Data controller
The data controller is Il Boscheto — Regione Madonna, Via Casale 17, 15030 Camagna Monferrato (AL), Italy · CIN IT006026B4K262CUUQ. For any request about your data, write to welcome@ilboscheto.it.
What data we process, and why
Data you give us. When you contact us — by email, phone, WhatsApp or via the site's details — we process the data you share (name, contact and message content) solely to reply and, if you wish, handle your stay request. Legal basis: responding to your request and pre-contractual measures (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Browsing data and technical cookies. To make the site work we use necessary technical cookies (e.g. remembering your choice on the cookie banner). Legal basis: legitimate interest in providing a working site and technical necessity (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Cookieless statistics. To count visits the site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a tool that uses no cookies, stores nothing on your device and produces only aggregate, anonymous data (e.g. number of visits, most viewed pages, country of origin), without identifying or tracking individual visitors. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding how the site is doing (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). Any tools that use cookies (e.g. maps) will instead be activated only with your consent and listed in the Cookie Policy.
Who we share data with
We do not sell or trade your data. We rely on a few providers acting as data processors, solely to run the service:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosting and delivery of the site, aggregate cookieless statistics (Web Analytics);
- Aruba S.p.A. — the email mailbox welcome@ilboscheto.it.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers (e.g. Cloudflare) may process data in the United States. Where this happens, the transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or other adequate safeguards under the GDPR.
How long we keep data
We keep contact data for as long as needed to reply and handle your request, and no longer than necessary for the stated purposes or required by law. Email correspondence is kept according to ordinary management needs.
Your rights
Under Articles 15-22 of the GDPR you have the right to access your data, request its rectification or erasure, restrict or object to processing, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, write to welcome@ilboscheto.it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies
For details on cookies and how to manage your preferences, see the Cookie Policy. You can change your choice at any time from the «Cookie preferences» link in the footer.
