Exposed stone walls and a wood-beamed ceiling tell the farmhouse as it was; the windows, on two corner sides, open onto the widest view over the hills of Monferrato, beyond the old roof tiles. Above the bed, a warm-toned triptych — an apple, a flower-woman, a cloud.

Oak headboard, white linen, a coffee & tea corner and one note of colour, the mint-green fridge. Private bathroom with shower, set against the same stone, herringbone terracotta floor and refillable Il Boscheto toiletries.
